We ship all types of Oversized Cargo
If you need to ship a cargo exceeding the proportions and capabilities of a single standard container, we have the expertise and equipment available to deliver, no matter which size your cargo is. We also put a strong focus on safety and efficiency maximisation, so that your oversized cargo is delivered with zero margin of error at lowest cost possible.
We have project cargo solutions for all types of oversized cargo:
- In Gauge Cargo: In gauge means dimensions of the cargo are smaller or equal to those of flat rack or open top container. This means in gauge cargo does not need additional slots on vessel and only requires special equipment during loading/ unloading process.
- Out of Gauge Cargo: A cargo is considered out of gauge if it exceeds standard dimensions by length, width, or height, but can still be unitised in containers. Some examples of out of gauge cargo are flanges, or trucks. With decades of experience, we have developed strong expertise in handling out of gauge cargo, and can provide you with this service wherever and whenever you need it.
- Break Bulk: Break bulk is known as non-unitised cargo and is usually placed on a bed of flat racks with a large number of lashing points. These highly specialist shipments require careful transport planning – from origin to destination. At Powerhouse International, you will benefit from our experience and expertise with break bulk cargo shipping.
If your cargo is oversized & heavy, you can count on us to transport it safely.
Oversized shipping usually requires special handling to protect the cargo’s complex components. Even more important, careful logistics & transport planning is crucial to deliver your cargo safely on site, on time, and on budget.
